Business Analyst for ERP software solutions

We are looking for a business analyst to assist the development team by analyzing and testing the software requirements, an enthusiastic person about new IT technologies with the aim of helping to shape the digital working world of tomorrow.
What You Will Do
As a Business Analyst, you will act as the bridge between customers, business stakeholders, and development teams. You will play a key role in shaping and enhancing our ERP solutions by analyzing business requirements, defining solutions, and ensuring successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and understand customer requirements, business processes, and operational challenges.
- Capture, structure, and document business and functional requirements.
- Define acceptance criteria and support the creation of user stories and functional specifications.
- Develop concepts and solution designs for extending and improving existing ERP solutions.
- Collaborate closely with customers, product management, and development teams to shape effective software solutions.
- Conduct functional testing, acceptance testing, and quality assurance activities.
- Ensure the quality and consistency of assigned software modules.
- Act as a key contact person for product-related questions and business process topics.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and digitalization of business processes.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Administrative Sciences, or a comparable qualification.
- Strong understanding of business, commercial, or financial processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and detail-oriented working style.
- Interest in digital transformation, business process optimization, and software solutions.
- Proficient English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with ERP systems (preferably in finance, administration, or public sector environments).
- Experience in business analysis, requirements engineering, or process management.
- Previous project management or project coordination experience.
- Knowledge of accounting, controlling, or municipal/public sector finance processes.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Agile Requirements Management).
- Experience working closely with software development teams.
